This halloween, we’re tasting our way through Warramate, Yarra Yering’s sister brand, with five spookily good wines, all $40 a bottle!
We’ll be tasting a sparkling, a chardonnay, a pinot noir, a syrah and a cab sav with winemaker, myth and legend Sarah Crowe (aka scare-crowe) taking us through each wine. also we might even carve a pumpkin. It’ll be a killer night, in the least threatening way.

Depends what we've dreamt up that month. Sometimes it's a tasting with a winemaker, sometimes a dinner, sometimes a party with a fairly loose educational component.
We take the wine seriously in that it’s delicious, but try not to take ourselves too seriously. Every event is a little different, so check the listing for the specifics.
-
Both, but we're certainly not running a classroom. You'll learn about the wines you're drinking, meet the people behind them and hopefully discover a few things you like and some language to describe it. After all the events, the group kicks on together at a pub nearby and keeps the vibe going.
-
It varies. We try to keep things accessible, but the price depends on the wines, venue and what's involved.
Everything included in your ticket will be outlined on the event page, so there shouldn't be any unpleasant surprises.

Apparently you all REALLY like APTNO.6 events, so capacity is often filled pretty quickly. We try to keep numbers smaller where we can so it’s a less scary social space to come into on your own. Smaller winemaker tastings sell out often within 15 minutes, but larger events can take a few days so you have more time!
We announce new events and provide count downs on when tickets go on sale through Instagram, so it's worth keeping an eye out on stories.
We would love to accommodate everyone, but unfortunately most wine bars have walls.
-
Life happens. You'll find the cancellation and refund conditions when you book. If something comes up, get in touch and we'll let you know what options are available under the ticket policy.
-
Many of our events are ideas from community members! If there’s something you want to learn about or a wine you’ve wanted to try, send us an email or DM on socials and we’ll try and make it happen!
-
Events are always the best way to start getting involved with the APTNO.6 community! If you can’t make it to an event, follow along on Instagram and TikTok.

All over inner Melbourne, mostly at wine bars, restaurants and other places we think are worth spending an evening. We occasionally venture further afield, too to wineries and day trips. The location is always listed on the event page.
-
We'd love to hear from you. We work with producers, venues and brands who want to build genuine relationships with the next generation of wine drinkers. Not just put a bottle in someone's hand and hope for the best. Head to our Partner With Us page to find out more.

We do. Think private tastings, team celebrations, wine tours and other occasions that could benefit from a decent glass of something. We can make it educational, social or a bit of both. We're particularly good at the latter.tion

maker and monger, prahran markets
This October, we’re opening Maker & Monger after dark for a Friday night dedicated to two things the Italians have spent centuries getting very, very right: cheese and wine.
We’re teaming up with cheese experts Maker and monger to give you through four italian cheeses paired with four matching italian wines.
We’ll get behind the rind and tell the stories of each cheese and wine, showing you why each pairing works and give you a few tricks to bring a little la dolce vita to your own table.
